Bavarian Sons zu Besuch bei Importeuren in Italien

Bavarian Sons on Tour: Through Italy with a Trunk Full of Beer

A car packed to the brim, exciting conversations and a clear mission: We hit the road in Italy with Bavarian Sons to build new partnerships and introduce our Bavarian beers to importers.

Good partnerships don’t just happen over email. Sometimes you have to hit the road yourself, fill the trunk with beer and show up in person. That’s exactly what we did: Bavarian Sons set off on a road trip through Italy, with great beer, new connections and shared opportunities at the heart of it all.

A trunk full of beer and big plans

Our goal was clear: We wanted to visit a range of Italian importers in person, introduce our products and find out how we could establish Bavarian Sons in the Italian market.

So we loaded up the beer, planned our route and hit the road!

With a trunk full of Bavarian Sons, we set off to meet our prospective partners. Rather than simply sending presentations and price lists, we wanted to showcase our products in person. After all, we’re convinced that the best way to get to know a beer is to try it for yourself.

During our visits, we had the chance to introduce our brand, talk about our vision and discuss potential distribution partnerships with the importers.

Two beers, one Bavarian vision

We brought along our two products: Bavarian Sons Helles and our new Mild Helles.

Bavarian Sons Helles – our classic

Our Helles stands for Bavarian brewing tradition, carefully selected ingredients and distinctive beer enjoyment. Brewed in Bavaria in accordance with the German Purity Law, it combines classic beer quality with a modern brand identity that works on an international stage, too.

Bavarian Sons Mild Helles – the gentler alternative

With our Mild Helles, we’re adding another option to the classic Helles. At 3.5% ABV, it’s for anyone who prefers a milder beer but doesn’t want to miss out on the taste of a Bavarian Helles.

This combination is what makes our range so exciting: a classic Bavarian Helles and a milder alternative that can appeal to new audiences and suit more occasions.

Our goal isn’t simply to export beer, but to build a modern Bavarian beer brand that stands out from more traditional offerings.

Face-to-face conversations, not just emails

What made our trip special were the personal encounters. Each visit gave us the opportunity to sample our products, answer questions directly and learn more about the different markets and distribution structures.

As a young company, we find conversations like these especially valuable. We learn what importers need, what opportunities different markets offer and how we can continue to grow Bavarian Sons internationally.

Our goal isn’t to close a deal as quickly as possible, at any cost. We want to build long-term partnerships based on trust, shared goals and a great product.

And sometimes the best conversations don’t happen at a desk, but in person, with a bottle of good Bavarian beer in hand.

Why Italy is an exciting market for Bavarian Sons

Italy has a vibrant food and hospitality scene and a strong appreciation for good food and drink. For us, the market offers exciting opportunities to bring Bavarian beer to new restaurants and distribution channels.

With our modern brand identity and two different Helles beers, we want to offer Italian importers a range that combines tradition with contemporary positioning.

Our road trip was therefore more than a series of business meetings. It was another step toward making Bavarian Sons known beyond Bavaria’s borders.

Next stop: the world

Our trip to Italy once again showed what Bavarian Sons is all about: We get things done, reach out directly to potential partners and are willing to go the extra mile ourselves to bring our vision to life.

Three friends from Bavaria, one shared idea and plenty of enthusiasm for building something. That’s how Bavarian Sons began, and it’s with exactly that attitude that we want to keep moving forward.

Eventually, the trunk is empty again. But we bring the ideas, connections and plans for what comes next back with us.

Bavarian Sons – One life. Enjoy it.

Cheers, and see you on the next trip!
