More than beer: A friendship between Bavaria and Australia

From Bavaria to Brisbane: From business partners to friends

What began as a business collaboration has meanwhile turned into something very special: true friendship.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming two of our Australian partners from the Brisbane German Club to Bavaria. Together, we experienced some unforgettable days and introduced them not only to Bavarian Sons, but also to our home and the Bavarian way of life.

A look behind the scenes

Naturally, a look behind the scenes at Bavarian Sons was a must.

We visited our warehouse and logistics facilities together and showed them everything that goes into getting our beer from Bavaria to Australia. Of course, we also discussed our shared future and our further plans for Bavarian Sons in Australia.

Experiencing Bavaria together

Beyond business, one thing was at the forefront: having a good time together.

We went to see FC Bayern at the Allianz Arena, visited traditional Bavarian taverns, and sampled typical Bavarian specialties. During a joint tour of Munich, our two guests were also able to get to know our home city and experience some of the places that make Munich and Bavaria so special.

One very special highlight was, of course, Oktoberfest.

Together at the Wiesn, a Maß in hand, good food on the table, and plenty of great conversations. It hardly gets more Bavarian than that.

More than just business partners

Yet with all these experiences, one thing became especially clear:

A business relationship has blossomed into a real friendship.

Initial contacts, discussions about beer and imports, joint projects, and collaboration in Australia have turned into personal connections, shared experiences, and many great memories.

That is exactly what Bavarian Sons is all about for us. We don't just want to export Bavarian beer. We want to bring people together, create friendships, and share our passion for Bavaria with the world.

Off to Australia!

After our days together in Bavaria, we are now looking forward to the return visit even more.

We will soon be heading to Australia to visit our friends in Brisbane, see the Brisbane German Club, and experience Bavarian Sons there on site together.
