From China to Bavaria: Our importer visiting Bavarian Sons
Teilen
How do you introduce an international partner to Bavarian beer?
Naturally, where it originates.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming our Chinese import partner to Bavaria. We spent several days together introducing them not only to Bavarian Sons, but also to Bavarian beer culture and our homeland.
From Munich, through traditional beer gardens and taverns, to our production partner at the brewery, it became a journey through the world of Bavarian beer.
And in doing so, we realized: Our commonalities go far beyond beer.
A visit with special significance
For us, personal exchange with international partners is particularly important.
Bavarian Sons aims to bring authentic Bavarian beer to the world. For our partners to truly understand the brand, we believe it takes more than just sending them product documents and price lists.
They should experience where our beer comes from and what Bavaria stands for.
That is precisely why we were delighted to welcome our Chinese importer to Bavaria in person.
Discovering Munich
Our time together began in Munich.
Of course, a visit to the Bavarian city center was a must. Together, we visited some of the city's most famous spots and gave our guests an impression of Munich and the Bavarian way of life.
And what would a visit to Munich be without beer?
At traditional Bavarian beer gardens and taverns, our guests were able to experience beer culture where it has been lived for generations.
Beer, Bavarian food, and plenty of conversation. Exactly the combination that defines Bavaria for us.
A shared passion: BMW & cars
Beyond beer and Bavaria, we discovered another common ground during the visit:
a passion for cars, and especially for BMW.
As a Bavarian brand, BMW is just as much a part of Munich and Bavaria as beer and beer gardens.
Our guests share this enthusiasm for German automobiles. So, alongside the beer, the conversation quickly turned to cars, models, technology, and our shared passion for BMW.
It is precisely such conversations that make a personal visit special.
You quickly realize that a good business relationship consists of more than just numbers and contracts.
Shared interests connect people – no matter which country they come from.
Visiting our production partner
A special highlight of the visit was the trip to our production partner and the brewery.
This is where our Bavarian Sons beers are created.
During a detailed brewery tour, our guests were able to take a look behind the scenes and learn how our beer is made from water, malt, and hops.
But we didn't just want to show them how our beer is made. We also wanted to taste it right where it is produced.
Beer straight from the tank
One of the special moments of the brewery tour was that we were able to tap fresh beer straight from the tank.
You can't experience beer any fresher than that.
We tasted the freshly tapped beer together on-site and recapped the various stages of production.
For our Chinese guests, it was a special experience to get to know our Bavarian beer not only as a finished product but to taste it fresh from the tank right at the place of its creation.
It is exactly these kinds of moments that make a brewery visit so special to us.
Beer tasting and a Bavarian snack
After the brewery tour, we continued with a joint beer tasting.
There, we were able to sample different beers and exchange thoughts on taste, brewing methods, and the various beer styles.
Afterward, we enjoyed a typical Bavarian Brotzeit (snack).
Bread, cheese, sausage, pretzels, and of course, beer. It hardly gets more Bavarian than that.
Over good food and a fresh beer, many interesting conversations emerged about the Chinese beer market, joint plans, and the further development of Bavarian Sons.
Bavaria meets China
For us, this visit was more than just a business appointment.
It showed once again how important personal relationships are when building an international brand.
An import contract is the beginning of a collaboration.
But walking through Munich together, sitting in a beer garden, talking about BMW and cars, touring a brewery, tapping beer straight from the tank, and talking about the future over a Brotzeit – that creates a completely different connection.
Bavaria and China at one table.
And naturally, with a Bavarian Sons in hand.
From Bavaria to China
Our goal is to build Bavarian Sons internationally step by step and to make authentic Bavarian beer accessible in China as well.
For that, we need strong local partners, which is precisely why personal meetings are so important to us.
Our visit showed us that our vision is understood and shared internationally:
Bavarian beer shouldn't just be exported. It should be experienced.
And perhaps it is precisely this mixture of beer, cars, Bavarian culture, and shared interests that turns a business contact into a long-term partnership.
We look forward to the next steps together and to connecting Bavarian Sons even more strongly with China.
From Bavaria to China.
Bavarian Sons – One life. Enjoy it. 🍻
